General Information

Our Christian library is run by a sub-committee of the Christian Education Ministry Team. Our goal is to provide a comfortable, peaceful environment with materials that inspire, teach, and entertain. This library’s adult section is mostly religious nonfiction, but it also includes some fiction and biographies. Children’s books are separated into two sections: (1) picture/easy readers and (2) juvenile/independent reader/young adult.

The library operates on an honor system and is open whenever the building is open. To check out a book, just write your name and phone number on the card that is inside the pocket on the first page. Leave the card in the box on the library table. To return a book, just put it in the basket marked Returns. There is not a specific loan time for most books, but 2-3 weeks is suggested. A small selection is marked 2 weeks, and we ask that reference books remain in the church.

Donating A Book To The Library:

The library is always eager to receive good quality Christian books, movies, and DVDs. Donations may be left on the library table with a note to that effect. Those we are unable to use will be sold in a Used Book Sale that benefits the library.

Special purchases in memory or honor of someone can be handled two ways: (1) By giving a financial donation to the library through the church office, or (2) By choosing a book from the “Wish List” and purchasing it. The book may be left on the library table with a sticky note to that effect, including the correct spelling of names.

A donation bookplate will be affixed to the frontispiece with your name and the honoree’s. Click here to donate a book or video with a donation bookplate.
