“Watch, Return, Repeat”

Read, Return, Repeat.  This mantra is the library’s version of the familiar recycling motto. Borrowing books is an earth-friendly alternative to buying books; it also saves your family money, and reproduces the clutter in your home.  We are expanding this idea to include: Watch, Return, Repeat.  A NEW DVD movie section has been started with library funds. These movies in DVD format are located to the left of the door as you enter the library (a crossed the hall from the parlor):

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe: Disney Version

The Truth About Guys: Movie Not Rated; Target Age Group: 12 to 17

Facing The Giants: Rated PG

Thou Shalt Laugh: The Deuce: Hosted by Comedy Great: Tim Conway

The Gospel Of John: Lent/Easter Movie; 3 hours; Rated: PG-13

Barabbas: Lent/Easter Movie; *Movie Not Rated

The Power of Forgiveness: *Movie Not Rated

We’d like to expand the list of titles.  Specifically, we are looking for new releases such as: The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian and Fireproof: Never Leave Your Partner Behind. You can also help by donating religious, kid’s religious or family movies that you already own (please include your name).  We are looking for a variety of titles, especially those bought at stores such as Color Me Christian, Family Christian Stores and Hallmark.  Other good picks include DVDs that are recommended by the Dove Foundation or any of the top movies rated by Christianity Today.

If you would like to lead a movie (or book) discussion night at the church, please contact the Minister or Christian Education Chairperson.  Thanks so much for your movie/book donations.  We hope you enjoy the shows!
