Christmas pageant and worship

Christmas pageant and worship (12)

The youth worked very hard to put together a delightful musical, "Miracle on Bethlehem Street." The costumes were great, the dialogue was fast and witty, and the music was catchy. Many thanks to all those who helped behind the scenes, including the high schoolers who built the sets and managed things behind the curtain, the directors, costumers and organizers, and the music director. Older youth led the accompanying worship service. It was a great way to have a joint worship service.

Caroling on Main Street

Caroling on Main Street (10)

It was cold and it was wet, but we had a good time caroling on Main Street in Niles. It was nice to give back to the community in this way.

Choir Progressive Dinner

Choir Progressive Dinner (1)

The handbell and adult choir had a progressive dinner. Hors d'ouevres at the church, salad at Host House Number One, lasagna at Host House Number Two, and dessert back at the church. This was a great way to interact with the various members of the music program. Too bad the photographer was having such a good time she forgot to take photos at the rest of the progressive dinner sites!
