Coffee and Conversation -

Adults of any age, but especially those in the last third of their lives, are welcome at Coffee and Conversation, a monthly forum for discussing the issues people face as they age and providing support and encouragement along the way. Topics can range from advance directives to rediscovering who you are after retirement. Meetings are held on the third Monday of every month. Watch the church calendar for specific dates, topics, and times.

Help@First Cookout

We’re inviting folks affected by the flood as well as, community churches leaders, to join our congregation for a 11:30 AM cookout on July 15, 2018 on the church lawn!   This will be an opportunity for us to share a meal with our neighbors.  Area agencies that have been helping flood victims since February will also be here to talk with folks about funding for rebuilding, contractor evaluations and other services.  Community church leaders who are interested in our work are also invited to attend.  RSVPs are very helpful, so please email Relief Coordinator Tammy Stanton at FPC_Reliefcoordinator@comcast.net or give her a call at 269-683-7600 X203.

Are You Thirsty for Something Real?

Are the children you know getting a little too much of the fantasy world on their electronic devices? Sign them up for a week of exploring what is truly important in life: their relationship with Jesus. There will be exciting Bible lessons, crafts, games, and music. Under the leadership of Julie Brien, our youth coordinator, every day will be an adventure they won’t want to miss!

All children from those entering first grade in the fall to those entering sixth grade are invited. And for the first time, we are also offering a special program for preschoolers (ages 3-5) that will run at the same time: from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. Breakfast and lunch will be furnished in cooperation with the Niles District Schools at no cost.

Click here for VBS Registration Form. Please send them in by July 20.

Adults and teens are welcome to volunteer for the week! Call Nancy Clark (Mrs. Harry) if you want to know more about how to help. And watch the bulletin board opposite the parlor for a list of supplies you can donate. Together, we can make this year’s VBS a REAL hit.

Youth Worship Services

Youth are active in worship! Youth occasionally lead worship in the sanctuary. These have an element of fun, but carry a deeper message applicable to everyone.
