Bible Study Groups

Monday Bible Study
Mondays at 1:00, Parlor

The Monday Bible Study group is studying the book of Johm by John Mac Arthur. The gospel of John is the simplest and yet, for many, the greatest and most powerful book of the Bible. John portrays Jesus in his deity as the son of God. This gospel revolved around the seven statements of Jesus about himself and the seven miracles that he performed. We welcome anyone who might be interested.

Brown Bag Circle:
noon, 1st Wed. of each month, Parlor

The Brown Bag Circle is a group of women who meet on the first Wednesday of every month for a Bible study and social time. Each one brings a sack lunch and we visit before "getting down to business." We are directly tied to the Presbyterian Women of the Lake Michigan Presbytery and particpate in their offerings and gatherings.

This fall we are studying the Luke's Gospel for the poor. This is a study book published and subscribed to through the Presbyterian Women's magazine "Horizons."

We are a very casual group and invite new members. All one need to do is "show up" and we will welcome you and share with you.

The Brown Bag Circle is also involved in mission work, rolling bandages for a mission hospital in Sierra Leone. more...

Global Study Group
4th Wednesday of each month, 10:00-noon, Parlor
